Re-rooting, the process has begun. It started last Re-rooting, the process has begun. It started last summer, with a small contribution to @cookingsections project at Palmengarten, Frankfurt.

This is now evolving into a research for a multidisciplinary art project focused on personal and family history, identity, community, rural environment, biodiversity, traditional knowledge, colonial history, music and architecture.

I go slowly slowly.

Call for entries: Jerwood / Photoworks Awards Aw Call for entries:
Jerwood / Photoworks Awards 

Awards for UK-based artists working with photography and who are within one to ten years of beginning their practice.

Two artists will receive a £15,000 award each (£10,000 artist fee, £5,000 production budget) with a full package of support from Photoworks and Jerwood Arts to create new work over a 12-month period.

The artists will be chosen by a selection panel including Christine Eyene (Art historian, critic and curator), Sunil Gupta (Photographer), Joy Gregory (Artist), Julia Bunnemann (Curator, Photoworks) and Harriet Cooper (Head of Visual Arts, Jerwood Arts).

Applications close on 12 May 2021 at 10am BST.
