OPEN SOURCE is a multidisciplinary arts festival held on Gillett Square in Dalston, London, exploring subcultures, identity, fluidity and self-determination across video, painting, installation and performance.
In its second edition, OPEN SOURCE 2016 is curated by Emily Butler, Christine Eyene, Helen Nisbet, Joe Fletcher Orr & Doug Bowen, Richard Parry and Amy Sherlock.

Open Source is a unique event: artist-run and led, it is a collision between the world of private views and opening-night performances and the world of Gillett Square with its domino players, legendary musicians, families and skateboarders.
Open Source presents artworks in the middle of life as it happens, enabling both the artists and Dalston’s diverse audiences to discover something new.
