Open Call: In situ residency, Paris

Cité internationale des arts (Paris) is accepting applications for In Situ residency programme.
In Situ is a multidisciplinary residency programme aiming to be a time and a space for encounters, collective work, and individual research, at the very heart of Cité internationale des arts, but also an area for the production of knowledge and thematic work around the conditions of existence. This programme is designed to accompany and support artists committed to a world in the throes of transformation. It brings together ten artists – from the fields of visual arts and performance, music and sound research, performing arts, design, writing, architecture and urbanism, curating and art criticism – for a period of six months, in Paris and on the marais site of the Cité internationale des arts, around a collective and individual dynamic, and a line of work proposed by a guest researcher.
The programme focuses on an individual and collective approach to ecological conditions of existence which take into account the reality of a changing world and invent, explore, and experiment with possible modes of action.
In 2027, the focus of the programme is proposed by Alexandra McIntosh, Director of the International Centre for Art and Landscape on the Île de Vassivière (CIAPV), France.
Visit Cité internationale des arts for more information on the programme focus and to apply.
