Paris Noir Opening Conversation

This introductory evening is an opportunity to discuss the impetus behind the exhibition Paris noir (Black Paris), present its itinerary, the bodies of works displayed, and chronological and thematic choices.

In the presence of the curator and two members of the scientific committee created for this project, three artists will take part in this inaugural discussion and reflect on how their practices and careers reveal the geographical ambition of the Paris noir project, which places Paris, a relational space, at the heart of a dialogue involving Africa, the United States, and the Caribbean.
