Tate Modern Lates
Join us at Tate Modern for a special evening celebrating the work of Oscar Murillo as part of the artist’s intervention transforming the Turbine Hall into an enormous painting garden inviting participants to create a vibrant work of epic proportions.The flooded garden is inspired by Claude Monet’s paintings of his flower garden in Giverny, France, and builds on Murillo’s series of Surge works.

Oscar Murillo and Friends Programmed by SAVVY Contemporary
Location: Starr Cinema, Natalie Bell Building, Level 1
Catch a series of conversations with artists and curators from Murillo’s creative community, programmed by S A V V Y Contemporary. S A V V Y Contemporary is an artistic organisation and discursive platform based in Berlin, animated by around 25 members and a network of collaborators, co-creating community. It develops tools, proposes perspectives and nourishes practices towards imagining a world inhabited together.

Programmed by Global Roots catch DJ sets from Reprezent Radio’s Papaoul and Kessoncoda ahead of their debut release on Gondwana Records. Plus experience the folkloric sounds of Mar, Río y Cordillera, a group of 13 musicians from the Valle del Cauca region of Colombia, creating a layered soundscape of voice.
