Mimosa House opens the third chapter of transfeminisms a major survey touring exhibition bringing to light a multiplicity of urgent, pressing, and ongoing issues faced by women, queer, and trans people across the globe.
In this chapter, entitled ‘Fragile Archives’, the artists explore narratives and testimonies of resilience existing in embodied forms, and practices ranging from personal, family or community archive, to written text, voice, songs and performance.
In addition to the exhibition, Mimosa House will host a series of talks and performances starting with a conversation between exhibiting artist Victoria Cantons and curator Hettie Judah on Tuesday 9 July, 6.30 – 8.00 pm.
Other upcoming events include performances and conversations with by Myriam Omar Awadi (11 July), Ada Pinkston (24 July), and Elsa James (31 July).
