The editors of Hapax Magazine seek submissions of interest from artists and curators who would like to apply for a commission to create a new photographic project or curated selection for publication in this biannual magazine.

Twice per year, Hapax Magazine seeks to commission several artists and curators (£500 each) to produce new photographic projects for publication.

Importantly, we are interested in meeting artists we don’t know yet, and curators who may be working outside the photographic sphere, from across the globe. We encourage submissions from everyone, regardless of experience, qualification, nationality, geographical location or background.

These new images and ideas together create a truly unique publication; importantly, these visual ‘hapax legomena’ are not shared online, rather they are treasured in this special print magazine, which is sold and distributed internationally.
