The group exhibition Moving Plants shows contemporary art in the Palmengarten. For six weeks, visitors will encounter film and sound works, installations, frescoes and performances by nine international artists. In a close exchange with gardeners and botanists of the Palmengarten, new site-specific productions have been created that enter into a dialogue with each other. The exhibition reflects the view on movements and choreographies of and with plants in the Palmengarten.
With Rachel Elizabeth Ashton, Zheng Bo, Cooking Sections, Rashiyah Elanga, Agnese Galiotto, Graham Hamilton, Zishi Han, Zac Langdon-Pole and Nina Nadig.
Curated by the students from Goethe Unitersität – Curatorial Studies: Louisa Behr, Theresa Dettinger, Maren Feller, Lukas Flygare, Lorenzo Graf, Anna Holms, Asta von Mandelsloh, Anna Marckwald, Anneliese Ostertag, Sophia Scherer, Laura Schilling, Leonie Schmiese, Sofia Steffens, Teodora Talhos and Johanna Weiß.
